High Hopes

Admittedly, fall is my favorite season of them all but there is such a beautiful kind of hope that comes with spring! While we occasionally get a few (or sometimes LOTS more) snow flakes in March, in Indiana, it's arrival signals spring and all it's possibilities.

The last several weekends we have been busy with all kinds of fun stuff; celebrating my father in law's retirement, a beautiful date day to Marengo, and a road trip with girlfriends. So this weekend we have decided to stay at home and regroup some. I am looking at this as an opportunity to accomplish (or at least make a dent) in the following;

- Clean apartment
- Catch up on laundry
- Re-organize my coupons
- Make progress on my fellowship application
- Plan this year's container/porch garden
- Make progress on the Shadowbox (knitting project)
- Do a little sewing

... and of course some good old fashion relaxation. So we shall see how much I actually get done. What are you planning for this first weekend of March?!
