Yarn Along

I am joining in with Ginny of "Small Things" again this week  to share what I am knitting.

It is not entirely uncommon for me to have a few projects on my needles but this week it's a tad overboard... in a good way of course!

The Nati sweater is hanging out in my knitting bag about where it was last week. So not much to share. However, this weekend we are taking a quick road trip to Cincinnati (Ikea and Jungle Jim's here we come!) so I am hoping to get it closer to done :)

The 6 Hour Afghan that I started last week is almost finished! It was too large to take to tonight's knitting group at the winery. However, I am fairly sure that when I measure it (after blogging of course!) it will be time to knit the trim and bind off!

So, since the giant cozy afghan didn't come with me tonight to knitting group I started and made mad progress on a wool cowl.

In other words... a few sets of my needles are full! I look forward to having a few finished projects to share in the coming days.

What beautiful things are you making this week?!

Have a warm and peaceful holidays!

  3. OH,wow! I really like this blanket! Looks real soft and cuddly. Is the pattern easy? My mom has knit 2 or 3 just the same and I'm thinking maybe this would be a good change for her. And great cowl! I started one yesterday to see if it was pretty easy and it was, so I've CO one for the college girl to knit. Should be easy enough for her to get done over break! She started a shawl in the fall, but just couldn't get into it, so we ripped it out and she's doing the cowl thing!!
