Gratitude Sunday

I am joining Taryn of Wooly Moss Roots in celebrating a few things that I am so very thankful for.

This week I am so very thankful for...

- A little extra time with family and friends celebrating the new year!  Time with the people you love is truly the good stuff!

- A semi-surprise lunch with my amazing sister and sweet nieces on Friday! I got a text on Thursday asking if I had lunch plans for the following day and that was that! It was so neat to have time with a few of my favorite ladies!

- Having dinner with family and friends last week at St. Elmo's! It was a wonderful holiday treat and Shane's first time?!  I think he liked it and I know I LOVED the world famous shrimp cocktail! Yum!

- A safe and fun New Year's!

- Dinner with our godson and his parents midweek! Again, time with friends is the best!

- A much needed nap under the new handnit throw with Macabean yesterday. After a day of errands and little projects around the house and a totally messed up schedule it was delightful to curl up in a snug blanket with my little buddy and sleep!

- The smell of bar soap as I shaved it into our homemade laundry laundry soap. It smells so light and happy.

- Hot Irish Breakfast Tea with condensed milk and sugar. Usually, I just add a splash of regular milk but every now and then I splurge with condensed milk and it is always delightful!

- More snow! We didn't get lots but just enough to enjoy the pretty white flakes falling and refreshing the earth!

- Working into a routine... in my case a new routine of adding some more teaching but a routine nonetheless...

- Scoring the Jamie Oliver's "America" Cookbook for $7 in the wrapper!  I love his cookbooks!

- Seed catalogs and garden talk! I love winter but I am also a planner and planning a garden is some fun stuff!

- Hugs!!!!

What are you thankful for this week!?!
