I am joining Taryn of Wooly Moss Roots in celebrating a few things that I am so very thankful for.
This week I am so very thankful for..
.

- My new warm coat! It came just in time for us to get the coldest temperatures in years! So thankful to have it, have gotten it for a good price, and that it feels like a warm cocoon on these very cold days.
- To have survived my first few days of working three jobs including a new part time, "in person", teaching position. I continue to hope and pray that I serve my students well.
- For a few easy, peasy, quick, useful, and fun knitting projects finished up, and in progress. I am very much a "project knitter". I love seeing the yarn go from a ball to a warm, beautiful, and useful item made with love from the hands of a fiber lover (mine or someone else's). Yah for yarn!
- Having the ability to stay home sick earlier this week as I battled a respiratory stuff. Thankfully, I have been able to sleep, get lots of healthy fluids, and get myself feeling a lot more like me.
- Watching the peaceful and uneventful swearing in of our President earlier today during the official swearing in. Where ever you stand politically, it is a true blessing to witness this historic event take place peacefully.
- Hot tea, kitty snuggles, woolies, and the cold weather that helps all of these even that much better!!!
- Text messages to and from people I love... sometimes, as much as you want to pic up the phone or write or type out a letter, life happens and there is the text to save the day (on a side note I never, ever thought I would say this!)
- A long weekend to be able to take a few minutes to breathe and enjoy the world around me.... Downtime is so important!
What are you thankful for this week?
Beautiful list Erika. :)
