Gratitude Sunday

I am joining Taryn of Wooly Moss Roots in celebrating a few things that I am so very thankful for.

This week I am so very thankful for..

Bushes outside our apartment on Winter 2010.

- That I survived! It was a busy week to say the least. I finished up teaching and submitting grades for the two online classes, built the first exam for the in person class I teach, and helped a friend with car shopping. All good stuff that I am very thankful for the opportunity!

- Gluten free pasta and cinnamon raisin bread... Because so much of the gluten free stuff is so expensive we don't tend to buy much of it and just cook meals that don't include wheat/gluten products but I had dinner with a friend at an Italian restaurant that offers gluten free pasta and I decided while grocery shopping that I * MUST * have cinnamon raisin toast so in to the basket it went... and man is it good!  Treats are nice sometimes! :)

- Helping my friend shop for a car... it's a lot more fun when you are just along for the ride (and helping someone you dig doesn't hurt either).

- Shane sweetly tolerating a trip to the northside of Indy yesterday so I could grab a few goodies at Lush and wander around Nordstrom Rack after a day of checking out the Home Show. We had fun though so it must not have been too bad :)

- Slow but sure progress on my Nati sweater... fiber therapy as my Mom, sister, and I call it is priceless!

- Getting pretty seed catalogs in the mail!

- Snow! We got at least a little dusting most days this week! I would love another big one though!

- A nap today! It was MUCH needed.

What are you thankful for this week?

  1. Wonderful list! I understand the gluten free treat completely! I treated my family to gluten free bagels last week. So pricey but oh man were they good. :)
