Good (Spring) Things

There are so many good things to share, where to start?!

We'll start with the garden! My little garden is growing! Outside the strawberries have a few berries starting to grow so I have added some parchment paper under them to help prevent rotting and support their growth. Also outside, the tomatoes are budding but there is no fruit as of yet. Inside, the sage, rosemary, thyme, cilantro, basil, nasturtium, catnip, and pumpkins are all growing nicely with the help of the new little garden gnome that I knit. I am by no means confident in my skills as a gardener however, the plants keep growing so I must be doing something right, right?! This coming weekend I hope to start repotting the little ones and taking them outside.
As noted, I finished knitting my little garden gnome! I knit him using Lion Brand organic cotton making him soft and earth friendly! I plan to make more as gifts and try the bunny also from the Plain and Simple Living blog.
This past Friday, Shane and I went to the Pearl Jam concert for our date night and wow, was it amazing! I can't truly put it into words but rest assured, it was that good! I also fell in love with the opening band, Band of Horses.
Finally, I can't not post the preciousness that is my cat, Macabean. We pester him all the time with snuggles, kitty kisses, and all kinds of love that, as a cat, he really doesn't appreciate :)
