I am off of work today for Good Friday so while I would like to stay home all day and not drive, it is one of the few opportunities that I to run errands and make appointments that usually can't be made on weekends. So I clustered them together to avoid back and forth trips out to save emissions and gas. Today is also compost turning day and chicken stock making day so, we are reusing as much of our food waste as possible. Finally, I am trying an eco friendly salon for the first time today for my cut and color. Oh, and you can't forget the free tea I'll be grabbing at Starbcucks by bringing my own reusable mug with me!
While these are little things, they add up over time to do big things for our planet and ourselves.
