Ahh... Fall!!!

This is most seriously my favorite time of the year! The cooler temperatures, grey skies, and sweet November rain!!

In the coming days and weeks I hope to get into the groove of posting again and sharing some of the fun stuff I've been up to. However, first, I need to get back into the general groove! It seems that the entire month of October and into the first of November have been nonstop. Thankfully, it has all been wonderful stuff!!

One the many things keeping me hopping this fall was the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting. Each year public health professionals from around the world come together for a week to share the latest advances in public health practice. This year, the APHA and the Skoll Global Threats Fund released the first of its kind public health surveillance project contributed to by the general public for use by both public health and the community. The project is called FluNearYou and I encourage you to click on the link to the right and learn more about the project and join! If you join through this link you will be helping me to "compete" with other public health professionals for bragging rights (and cash!). So click around, let me know of questions you might have, and join the fun!

Here are a few pictures of my fall so far....enjoy!
