I am joining in with Ginny of "Small Things" again this week to share what I am knitting.
My intention over the long weekend was to finish the triangle shawl. While I came very close and by my calculations have only about 11 rows left, I truly needed a break from all of that garter stitch! I actually really love garter stitch because it's mindless and I love the look of it when it's done. However, it can become a tad too mindless. So tonight during my monthly (maybe this month, bi-monthly) knitting group I started on the stash buster lace scarf. I found the pattern a few years back while looking for a good starter lace pattern. This is actually my second time using the pattern and I love that it is lacy but still easy enough to memorize and click through at a good pace. I also love that I can use big needles for instant gratification! :) Once finished this scarf will be donated to my mom's church's craft bizarre.
Oh, and for those wondering, I had an absolutely wonderful time at my, "My First Sweater Class", and I will share a little more about it in an upcoming post. There isn't much to share in terms of a started sweater because I am still agonizing over yarn but I practiced a great deal with the techniques learned in class with scarp yarn so once I get the final yarn picked out watch out world! :)
I am so also so very sorry for the poor picture quality this week. Apparently, my cell phone camera is the only one with a charge this week! :)
What pretty things are you working on this week?!
