A Day Off...

One of the perks of my job is having Columbus Day off of work. While I love having most of the rest of the holidays off enjoying time with Shane, family, and friends, having Columbus Day off is a fantastic little holiday I get all to myself! 

I started the day with a nice hot shower and getting "dressed" in my snuggly jammie jams! Then I planted myself in my comfy chair and drank lots and lots and lots of cups of hot English Breakfast tea with milk and sugar while watching documentaries and Downtown Abbey and knitting!  I took breaks here and there to snuggle Macabean and make myself a simple lunch but otherwise, it was me, my knitting, and new favorite Brits. Seriously friends, it was WONDERFUL!

"Mommy, please go back to knitting, I am so tired after but 12 hours of sleeping today..."

The scarf I was able to almost entirely finish in one sweet day! 

While I am self described "people person", I am slowly but surely learning to truly enjoy a little "me time". What do you enjoy doing during your me time?!
