Yarn Along

I am joining in with Ginny of "Small Things" again this week  to share what I am knitting.

I'm at that weird stage where there arms are so skinny and yet it kinda, sorta looks like a sweater :)

I completely forgot to take a picture earlier and so I apologize for weird contrast in colors... both yarns are so pretty I really need to capture them better for you in upcoming posts.

Let me just say that Presidential Debates are good for knitting.... at least for me :) My needles were clicking  away last night while Macabean snuggled up with me watching them.  I have made solid progress on my Nati sweater and also started a second single row lace scarf in a black alpaca and wool blend. The sweater is larger and is a better "at home" project versus the scarf that is great for carrying with me for lunch breaks, sitting in traffic, waiting on the oil to the be changed in the car, etc. The sweater looks so small on the needles but I keep measuring and measuring and everything looks to be on track so hopefully it will fit. The yarn, Patons Wool Roving, is WONDERFUL! I also have some to make a throw for our living room and I am already dreaming of taking a nap under it and it's still a few projects down the row on my list :)

What beautiful things are you working on this week?

  1. Nice to be nearing the end on a sweater.
The scarf is looking cosy already.
    Enjoy knitting.

  2. Dropping by from the Yarn Along. I keep thinking about taking my knitting with me to work on at a moments notice, but I'm afraid that I'll mess up horribly with no way to fix it until I get home. I do completely understand the need to take small portable projects though...I do travel a lot.
